  • Level 7 international students make up the majority of students registered with ABP.
  • Over 60% of UK-based students are from Asia (India, Pakistan, China, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh). Other frequently sited areas of origin include Nigeria, the Philippines, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
  • Outside the UK, popular areas for delivery of ABP programmes include Asia and the Middle East.

For international students postgraduate-level courses, such as ours, are an extremely popular pathway to a Masters degree. This is backed up by the following figures (based on admissions surveys in the UK):

  • Among non-EU international postgraduate research students at university, 46% were recorded as having some previous experience of HE in the UK.
  • Analysis of Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) application data indicates that the proportion of international applicants who applied through UCAS centres in the UK was 75%, demonstrating further the likely scale progression from other education providers.

  • Email all relevant students announcing the progression agreement.
  • Email all centres in the ABP database (over 1,500 contacts worldwide) announcing agreement.
  • Post a news story with homepage headline
  • Announcement on Social Media including Facebook, Linkedin and ABP blog.
  • Progression agreements are listed on each qualification’s information page ensuring the university is immediately known to anyone viewing that qualification.
  • Logo and link to the university’s site from ABP University Routes webpage.
  • Link to information table summarising the Masters programme with application information
  • ABP offer further support on request, for example announcing open days to our database and social media sites
